Just doesn't seem right that someone can climb 90' rip a baby bird from the safety of it's nest,poke him with sharp pointy things to draw blood,yank feathers out of it's delicate skin and permanantly attatch a foreign object to it's leg. If someone tried to do that to a human child he would be hung out to dry. Oh that's right it's for the good of the species. Sounds like torture to me.

The person holding onto it is from the DNR. They banded the 3 eaglettes, took blood and feather samples and measurements.

The eagles were visited today by the DNR. They climbed 90' up brought them down and took blood, feathers and banded them. They are doing fine!
